The movie was an enjoyable little piece of slapstick, good for fun, and not meant to be taken seriously, but the Frenchman, wandering through the apartment (and movie) moaning “Bougie! Bougie!” was perhaps the worst attempt at bilingual (pun) humor I’ve ever run into. 😳
Benny Hill did much better, and Canadian comics, Wayne and Shuster, once did an impressive English/German/Latin 3-way pun. 🙂
